It was a delightful morning, spying the Long-Tailed Shrike, with in 15 minutes. There are miles of road that can be driven by car, near bodies of water, and also wooded and grassland areas, which provide habitat for many species of bird!
This park is very large. You can use their spaces for birthday parties like I did for no charge. It was a hot month and the bathrooms were locked but I should have requested for them to be open. There was also no public outlets...More
Always enjoy visiting Hazel Bazemore Park. The driving loop passes the Neuces River where one can canoe and/or fish and a nice rest area overlooking the park. They also have a couple secluded spots for bird watching. Great place to reconnect.
