I have longed to go to the Selena museum ever since I was a little girl and was finally able to for the first time a couple months ago. It's located on Leopard St. and comes up quite suddenly so be on the look out for the sign. We got there right before they opened and that they did at... More

If you like Selena plan to visit her Memorial. A very moving experience day or night and supported by all her international fans.

The cost was $3.00 per person which was not bad to see Selena's memorabilia. It's not very big but still very neat and has a gift shop. Mr. Quintanilla walked in when we were sitting down in the lobby looking and reading the stuff on the wall. He did not greet us or thank us for coming by. I just... More

This is more of a monument than a museum. It's a nice tribute to a local girl who changed the face of Tejano music, BUT, I personally didn't think the statue looks anything like her. The pose is reminiscent of one of her album covers, but it really wasn't very flattering to her. The white rose was much more symbolic... More

The cost was only $3 dollars per person which was not bad to see a collection compiled of many of Selena's accomplishments. They a "tour guide" but all the individual did was to walk the group through the recording studio, speak briefly of the history of it, then walked the group back to a room where a lot of Selena's... Selenas dad took a great time to show us around and had a conversation with us fans of his daughter. $3 is more than fair to pay for entrance fee. Only negative thing is the parking. It took us awhile to get out. Also, why closing on weekends? Fans who work during the week will find an obstacle to go... More

We loved seeing the statue, but not very much to do other than take a picture. It is right by the shore so if you are planning to walk around then it is fine to stop and see it.
