this is simply a life size sculpture of selena that is found along the seawall. it is a nice tribute to a local star unfortunately like so many places, vandals while not defacing the statue itself, have found a way to leave their ugly marks...More
Parking along the street can be a hassle, but it is a pretty area looking out on to the marina. It is a statue, so not much to "do". It was a quick stop, 15 minutes including walking to and from the car. It is...More
A nice tribute, to a local, talented singer and entertainer. Learn a bit and take a photo, and take in the passersby, and waterfront. Five minute stopover as part of a day of activities in Corpus Christi.
This is a great little spot if you are a Selena fan. Although there is not much to it, it is a great free place to visit on the bay front and take pictures. It is a beautiful setting and a great way to memorialize...More

No bridges other than overpasses along I-37. In fact I-37 empties out onto North Shoreline Blvd just a few blocks from the Selena statue on the corner of Shoreline Blvd and Peoples Street. Shoreline is a divided Blvd so keep in mind that Selena in on the Bay side. Easy to find and plenty of free parking on the T-Head at the end of Peoples St. Its a quick walk to the statue. By the way, Landry"s restaurant is on the T-Head. Harrison's Landing is also on the T-Head. I would not recommend eating there. There are many more restaurants around the downtown area. Long John Silvers is better than Harrison's Landing. You can read my review on that place. I hope I have answered your question for you. Enjoy your visit.
