Permanent collection takes up most of the spaces, but occasional inclusion of non-local traveling shows are a real joy. If you live here, probably tired of seeing the same old, same old works from the permanent collection.

Very interesting to see the work of local artists. We happened to arrive in a terrible rain storm and found out that we got in free that day. I'm not sure whether this was preplanned to be free or was free because we braved the storm. It took about an hour to see all the exhibit.

Many touring exhibits pass thru Corpus and the best one's land here. They have a nice restaurant but the view from both inside the museum and from the patio outside the restaurant is worth the visit. It's like you are on a ship, give it a look.

Wow. This is an incredible gem of a place. It is not small, and has a very impressive permanent collection and A list traveling exhibits. You cannot miss this place if you are passing through. The entire museum district here is quite beautiful. Kid friendly!

I am a member. Exhibits are changed often enough to be interesting. Some permanent exhibits. I enjoyed hearing Ansel Adams' son discuss his father's work and enjoyed the exhibition he curated. The Cihully glass chandelier is spectacular.

Nice place. Library silence. I think probably the best part about this is the architecture. The art was fantastic, obviously, but the architecture of the building was WOW. I did quite enjoy the flowing waters outside the entrance. Also, Hester's cafe inside. I didn't even go upstairs. Part of it was closed for renovation, so I didn't bother. NO PHOTOGRAPHY... More

For Corpus Christi, its a nice museum. It's not a big one like one you'd see in other major cities, but it still is nice to walk around. It's also inexpensive, right by the Water Gardens, and has a tasty lunch bistro with an awesome view of the bay, aquarium, and USS Lexington.

Not worth it! Noting out of extraordinary. It's just like any small museum that has no major works of art.
