Great views from the pier. Gated for safety. Awesome just to sit there and listen to the crashing waves and feel the ocean breezr.

We came to the pier to swim and wanted to check out the pier. Everything was closed including the bathrooms nearby. The beach was nice though.

Went here 4th of July weekend and of course there were a lot of people around. But there is plenty of parking and places were easy to get too.

The cost just to go on the pier is $2, but not bad to watch locals fish & good views for photos. Good if you like to fish. They do have a restaurant too. We didn't eat there, but seemed like a good place.

I had the grilled shrimp the kids had burgers. We all liked it and the price was reasonable considering the location. We had just come in from the beach. The service was slow, but it was the waitress first day. I'll be back!

Went and paid our $2 each to walk on the pier and see what the anglers had caught. The pier was grubby and I wondered why we'd bothered and how it has made it to the list of "things to see".

Pro Relatively inexpensive to go out on the pier and fish (or stroll) $2 per person AND $2 per fishing pole The pier goes far enough out to get you well beyond how far out you could wade fish The deck had holes that allow you to set you pole and not have to hold it the entire time Cons... More

Bob Hall Pier is a long time favorite of local fishermen and even those from around Texas who come back a few times a year. The fishing is usually excellent and the views unsurpassed. Have lunch at Mikel Mays on the pier.
