As someone who has always been interested in carriers this was a dream come true. Went aboard with my son we both some things. The ship is broken down into 5 different tours that you can take from the bridge to the engine room. My only regret is we only 2hrs, not nearly enought. If you plan to take all... More

My husband really loves planes so we was like a kid in a candy store on the USS Lexington. Lots of history about World War II and about this remarkable aircraft carrier. It's a self guided tour so, you can go at your own pace. We were there about 3 hours.

This is one of the greatest museums of World War Two I've ever been to. The cost of admission was fair, considering all the restoration and upkeep they are responsible for on this carrier. There is so much to see, and we spent two-three hours clambering around the carrier seeing the various tours. Not a trip for people who can't... More

We drove down from San Antonio on Tuesday December 22nd. We thought it would be fun for myself and my husband but did not realize how much fun our 17 year old grandson would have. We ended up spending over 4 hours exploring. Looking at the size and history of this great ship . My grandson totally enjoyed being able... More

Do not hesitate to visit this historic ship. The tour is very complete and you are able to see how planes landed on the deck as well as understand importance of this ship. Very enjoyable. Lived the gift shop.

The military history enthusiast could spend a couple few days here! The various routes you can explore within the ship provide a variety of information and video clips. The jets on top are always amazing to see up close.

We took our 9 y/o boy, 21 y/o boy and his fiancée. We all enjoyed our visit. We spent about 3 hrs and wished we had more time. Self guided is all they do but this allowed us to take our time where we wanted.

Having never been on naval ship before, I was awed by the magnitude of this carrier. The tour is well outlined with different exhibits across ship. Models of planes that flew on the carrier were available to see on the flight deck. Staff members were all very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend if you are by Corpus Christi

Very good tour, and all the staff on board were nice and helpful. This ship was clean and well maintained. It was a self guided tour, but with the map and signs, it was easy to get around the ship.

A great half-day or longer trip, just be sure your knees and legs are up to lots and lots of steep stairways. Very engaging!
