We were first in line when the Lexington opened this morning and we spent 5 straight hours touring the ship. As expected it was hot but they did a wonderful job in cooling many sections of the ship. The IMAX movie was a wonderful addition to the tour. This tour allows you to step back in time for a day.... More

This ship is amazing! It was decommissioned in 1991. As you walk the decks and think about this amazing vessel being a part of WWII, you are struck by the awesomeness of the technology for its time! In order to really get a good look at the vintage aircraft on the flight deck, go early! You will want to start... More

This might be my favorite place to visit! I absolutely love anything to do with WWII especially aircraft! I could literally stay on the ship for days and not be bored for one minute. We have gone several times and my wife always has to practically pull me away. Don't leave Corpus without seeing this amazing piece of history!

My son and I spent three hours walking the deck and going through the deck levels. Awesome experience and I would recommend it with kids who are teenagers.

We very much enjoyed this and are looking forward to going back! You could easily spend 3-4 hours wandering through the ship(at least). The kids were entertained enough to stay interested in the history (8 &12). The 3d movie was good as well. We loved the gift shop! It was well priced and had a ton of choices. We picked... More

Been there many times, and see something new every time. Love going there with my Grand Kids and Great Grand Kids. I was in the Navy for 28 years. Never Served in an Aircraft Carrier, but there is still a Sea Story everywhere I look. Reading the name of all those Ship Mate who gave their lives defending our Freedom,... More

Love the Blue Ghost. There is so much history and so much to see and experience. We always have a good visit. The kids really enjoy being able have hands on experiences with all the gadgets aboard.

I have visited this ship many times with my most recent visit 7/23/16. I must say it is really hot on that ship some places are air conditioned but fare warning it's hot if you visit during the summer. Climbing those stairs are tricky because they are narrow and steep. Great history lesson for sure!!! It's a must to visit... More
