Like traveling back in time, visit to the decommissioned USS Lexington was great fun. It's a floating museum that carries visitors to the days of World War 2. There's almost more than one visit can absorb. Just a word of caution: It takes some athletic ability to climb the stairs up to flight deck, or down to lower decks. Families... More

Interesting, great naval history. Staff was great, very well informed. Highly recommended. Not sure what else to say, it's a ship, it has a lit of history and would be educational for anyone who has not been on an aircraft carrier.

This place completely exceeded my expectations! It was very interesting and a ton of fun! There are multiple self guided tours that will take you on a journey atop the Lexington and below. I would recommend ensuring you have something to drink if you go in the summer because it can get hot and involves a lot of walking and... More

Be prepared to walk up and down a lot of stairs to see the ship. They only have portions of the ship open to view due to upgrades and making it safe for tourist. Anyone with an interest in aircraft carriers, will love the tour. I was impressed with the 3d theater they offered. I was on this ship for... More

The USS Lexington is well Worth the trip. There is so much history there and you can just feel like you are on a Carrier as shipmate . It is really interesting . Especially the flight briefing room. Be prepared for a couple of things... Climbing stairs and feeling hot. There are areas in ship where you might feel cramped... More

You really need to be a ship/military buff, I'm not but I enjoyed everything about this ship! Definitely wear comfortable shoes a lot of walking but lots to see. Had a weird experience down below, when leaving going up the steps felt something grab at my ankle and nobody was around, I dismissed as being nothing until someone was talking... More

I like very much aircraft's and all related items. The museum was ok, but the number of planes on exhibition is small, when compared with other museums I have seem before

My husband and I had a good time. The self guided tour was great and the best part was shooting the battle guns. Don't forget to stop in the gift shop.
