The ship had many artifacts from WWII. The planes on the flight deck, while not of that time period, were very interesting. A couple of the host were old Navy guys who really brought meaning to the exhibits. Many of the exhibits showed what life onboard an aircraft carrier was like.

I've been here 4 times this past 2 years and I discover something new each time. Heck, I discovered an entire section of the ship that I never knew existed my last visit. Be sure to block off at least 3 hours if you want to see everything. Better yet, see a few sections, go home and digest- then return... More

I am of fan of historic sites. As for aircraft carriers, I have been to the Intrepid in New York City which I loved and had to be sure to visit the USS Lexington. This ship is also huge with much to see. In addition to all the aircraft on deck there is a 3-D film on board about the... More

You can have the best pictures here. Use the sunset as background, use some historic planes or the same aircraft carrier. The beach or the city as background. The sound of the waves makes you feel very relaxed. Love this historic and history learning place

A must for people visiting North Padres, Mustang Island and Corpus Christi TX. Enter and exit on this historic aircraft carrier. Groups such as Girl and Boy Scouts can reserve an over night stay. Hot and loud. Read history of boat before going. Really interesting destination. Really Hugh ship.

This museum is very well presented and maintained. 5 different tours show life aboard an aircraft carrier during WWII. The 3D movie (included in entrance fee) shows a battle group and how the carrier is the central command-and-control element. The aircraft on the flight deck are well maintained and every display has a detailed and informative sign. This is a... More

Very interesting and fun! Kids loved it, the planes, the interactive activities, 3D movie, and cartoon! They also had a nice gift shop!

The Lady Lex is looking fantastic! They've made so many improvements. We've been coming for so many years that my kids could be docents. We were impressed & enjoyed the new exhibits. Keep up the great work! A warning: touring this ship in the summer is killer if you aren't used to the heat. Drink lots of water!

We came as group. One day in advance we ask via email for group rate and they sent us a confirmation number giving us a special discount. It was fun, historic and very recomendable attraction in Corpus Chirsti. The best thing you can find here: perfect place for pictures.
