We walked in right before a concert and were graciously allowed to stay and listen. It was a big choir with a few instrumental soloists.

The staff/docents were welcoming, accommodating, informative, and warmly received us. The architecture is gorgeous, particularly the stained glass. Would love to hear the huge pipe organ sometime!

Another stunning building. The Sisters will ask any questions you may have of the building and give you some history. Fabulous!

This was just one of two church buildings, besides the visitor centers, that non-LDS members could freely access. Upon entering I was greeted by two very welcoming missionaries from Hong Kong. I actually learned a lot more than I expected from them about the building and church itself. The building was constructed with lots of detail from the white spires, stained glass windows and woodwork. The lighting at night enhanced it. The organ here occupied the center and weekly concerts or recitals also took place. It was interesting to note that attendance was limited to 8 years of age and older.

The Assembly hall can be viewed free of charge and there will be friendly volunteers inside to tell you a bit about it. It is a nice townhall type of place with a relatively new organ. When I visited Temple Square this was the only edifice you could see because the Temple is off limits for non-believers, and the Tabernacle was closed for recarpetting.
