Built in 1882, this was an early meeting Hall for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Assembly Hall has beautiful white spires. Details of the interior woodwork are beautiful. It has beautiful stained glass windows. There is an elegant organ...More

Yes another interesting place in SLC. The original place for meetings and you can tell by the size of the benches - people must have been very small in those days!

Of the many structures in Temple Square, this is the most ornate building. It is not the Tabernacle. Good news is you can go inside! Take time to visit, it is beautiful inside and out

During my first time hols to SLC I visited Temple Square. The Assembly Hall turned out to be my favourite building of all! Do make the effort of stepping inside and keep your eyes open for the immense, detailed craftmanship! Look up to the ceiling...More

I've enjoyed the comfy feeling here while listening to various concerts. It's smaller than The Tabernacle, which gives a more intimate feeling.
