This small urban green space features watercourses, lawns and pathways. It is located fairly close to Temple Square. I discovered the park while walking back (downhill) from the State Capitol. The neighborhood is full of charming older homes and hilly streets. Be careful as some of the pavement in the park is broken - can be a hazard if you’re not watching where you’re walking.

City Creek Park is a small but beautifully landscaped park that centers around - you guessed it - City Creek. It is a stone's throw from Temple Square, so if you're in a walking mood, it's a nice place to sit and enjoy the creek and the shade. It also has a hidden surprise - if you follow Canyon Road (on the east side of the park) just a couple of blocks north, you'll find that the park re-starts, and continues to follow the creek up City Canyon. This lovely path will take you through the historic Canyon Road district, all the way to the gorgeous Memory Grove Park.

Area was dirty, there were lots of people sleeping there, some engaged in very inappropriate acts for daytime with children around.

We spent quite a bit of time walking around this area during a recent visit to SLC. It is quite relaxing. This park clusters around City Creek as it winds its way out of Memory Grove and before it hits Brigham Young Park. It’s very small and quaint with plenty of trees for shade, a cute little rounded bridge and ample bench seating.

This is a beautiful litle park in the middle of a large metro city. Nice place to visit, meditate or just relax.

We went to City Creek Park. It is a short walking distance from the Mormon Temple grounds.

It is a park (and is not to be confused with the shopping center.)

The park has a pond, trees, flowers, and green space. Its currently open from 7-11.
Dogs can be in the park if they are on leash.

Its small, but nice to be in the downtown area of Salt Lake City.
