Rented skis for one day and skied in deep snow in Deer Valley with no issues. Equipment was good quality and seemed like a fair price. Upon returning the skis, they charged $15 for "damage" they said I caused by skiing over rocks. I could barely even tell there was a slight scratch, and my guess it was there already, but I didn't take a picture of the bottom of the skis when I first picked up the skis, so I couldn't prove it. But, they sure didn't tell me to inspect them when picking them up either, like the car rental companies do when you pick up your car.
Seems like a scam to get back at anyone for not buying the optional insurance.

I booked our equipment in advance and it was the least expensive by a bit. They always try to upsell you to the newest skis, but my skills don't need the best, so we skied on 2 year old shape skis. They were just fine. The location I chose was 1 mile from my hotel, on the way to the ski resorts, so it was super convenient. The pickup was a little slow, but that was because I picked up Saturday morning with everyone else. It probably took 30-40 minutes even though I had filled everything out oline ahead of time. The drop off was 2 minutes with no hassles. I would definitely rent there again.

I own my own ski gear but occasionally I rent rather than travel with equipment. I've been in ski shops from Montana to New Mexico. We chose Ski 'N See due to its proximity to our hotel.
They seem to have a good website for ordering in advance, and, in general, the equipment is adequate. There was just nothing to distinguish SNS as a retailer.
There prices are competitive, however there's not much of a discount in lift tickets compared to buying on the mountain. I would use them again but would not object to a different establishment.

Bought ski poles here, which immediately broke after 2 ski runs doing nothing abnormal for poles. Brought the poles in the day-of and Ski N' See refused to offer a refund or exchange for a clear manufacturing defect. Would be very cautious about buying any equipment here given this experience, especially when there are multiple ski shops right next door that would correct the mistake. STAY AWAY for your own piece of mind

We have typically brought our own gear to ski in the past. With 3 of us, decided to rent instead. I found this place online and since it was near our hotel, went with them. Online reservation was so easy (and no charge, in fact got a discount), and all our gear was waiting for us. Biggest thing? You can pick things up the evening prior to your use, and drop off the morning after - no extra charge! This is huge.
We were in and out in less than 10 minutes for pick-up. Drop-off took less than a minute - the staff even came out to help carry gear in. We went with the middle-line option (Preferred), and they were fine. If you are an expect skier, then you would want the top option. I do of course prefer my own stuff, especially boots, but traveling with a kid made this a nice choice. Will use again.

Hi, how late will there be skiable snow on the mountain this year?

Shane, I'm sorry you didn't get your question answered. We had skiing in Utah through 4th of July at Snowbird! Hopefully you made it out!
