Went for Sunday Mass while on vacation and was welcomed with smiling faces. The wonderful thing about Catholicism is you can go anywhere around the world and feel at home because the Mass is all the same!

The Mormons know how to build palaces to God or are they palaces to themselves? I'm wondering more as I visited the buildings how they're "marketing" their religion. They own half of downtown even the exotic mall they built.

I attended 5:15 pm daily Mass while in Salt Lake City for business. The cathedral is beautiful, inside and out, and centrally located. The acoustics inside are fantastic, organ music sounds great! A bit unwelcoming because it is locked except near Mass times, and I was dismayed to see the police removing some homeless man who didn;t seem to be... More

To late on Friday for tour but were able to attend mass. Outside is amazing architecture and inside paintings adorn the inside.

Beautiful inside and out. If possible, visit at a time the children's choir is singing. Grandeur and loveliness.

We attended evening Mass at the Cathedral of the Madeline. We had not expected the lovely murals which look to be Art Nouveau. There is a large pipe organ and the musical offerings during the service were far more sophisticated than we usually see.

This was a beautiful cathedral where we attended mass on a Saturday afternoon. We were surprised that the mass was in Spanish but we were able to follow the English translation. It was a nice slightly uphill walk from our hotel in the center of the city and the weather was fine to do so.

It is a beautiful cathedral with great acoustics when the choir sang. A little too much echo during mass made it hard to hear the Priest. It was a great service though in that setting and I would recommend it to all especially a Mass if you are Catholic, although you could enjoy as well as a guest.
