I graduated from high school in this building and have only been back for symphonies, but have attended many of these over the years. The acoustics are very good. The foyer (lobby) is comfortable. I suggest not sitting in the first five or so rows, as you will not have as good of a view of the band or orchestra.

We have attended several events here from concerts to seminars. The building is beautiful and clean. It seems there is not a bad seat in the house! The staff are friendly and helpful.

Love the music and the glass sculpture. Our flight was delayed 6 hours so we decided to go to Symphony. We had already turned in the rental car and our luggage. They were very nice and we all wore jeans (makes me sad). Great coat check for our carry-ons. Easy to get from airport to downtown on train. I liked... More

We saw Mannheim Steamroller here 12/26. Second time we have seen them, and while I won't comment on the actual concert here (not that it wasn't great, just not relevant to the review) I think Abravanel Hall was wonderful. For past concerts & musicals in our home state, we have purchased last minute tickets and been disappointed with the view,... More

First off, this building is quite an architectural feat. There are no microphones because the acoustics are simply amazing! We've been here a few times and I can say that every single concert we have attended has been absolutely amazing! Great experience every time!

I listened to a dozen different ensembles perform here during the national choral convention, and the hall is so good that it makes any group sound good regardless of size, maturity, instrumentation, or repertoire. The balconies are beautiful and have great sound, and there isn't a bad seat on the floor.

Gorgeous hall with nice acoustics (and a spectacular Chihuly scultpure). I saw two amazing concerts by the Utah Symphony. They are fantastic! Really high level orchestra. Definitely worth the trip!!

This is a fantastic venue for an orchestra or a symphony. I saw the Utah Symphony while here, and they sounded incredible. Abravanel hall is set up perfectly for a large audience to enjoy and is well done acoustically. There's a sense of luxury everywhere you go from the main floor auditorium to the foyer, this place makes you feel... More

I have been here for various shows and events and it is just a great facility and always has a classy audience in attendance. I saw Dave Chappelle here as well as the symphony.
