More Than Ten Miles of Relaxing Scenic Hiking
May 2018 • Couples
Even for a senior citizen this was a very doable hike. Wide wood chipped trails meant for hiking and horseback riding. Very scenic in every direction. Lots of animals crossing the trails add to the beauty of the outing. Plenty of parking at the west end and middle section.

A gem in our city
Aug 2017 • Solo
Dimple Dell is simply a gem among the endless suburban expanse that surrounds it. There are miles of trails that take you into the canyon and away from the noise of traffic and view of people's backyards. I frequently see deer and other wildlife down here and find that there are rarely people on the trails. There is a calm a serenity here that you cannot find at any other park in the area. Keep Dimple Dell Wild.

Lovely fall colors on an easy hike
Oct 2013 • Friends
Hiked a couple of miles of this attraction, and found really nice fall colors. This time of year the stream is not running, but the bird sounds make up for the absence of the sound of rushing water. The most unexpected bird call was that of a peacock -- owned by a homeowner nearby. This area is easily accessed, and makes for a great short hike when you don't have an abundance of time. Equestrians seem to love the area, and I can see why. The trail is mostly sandy, with a few rocks. Little or no elevation gain/loss. Bring your camera, water and a snack and enjoy a leisurely stroll in nature.

Good walking and horse riding trails
Apr 2013
It's best to visit in the spring when it's nice and green and there is water running down the creek. After June its weeds and sagebrush and a dry creek bed.

Great foothill and gully hiking. Views of Lone Peak are spectacular. Lots of lizards in the summer and good hiking trails.
