To bad the jazz lost but what a game. There were hardly any empty seats. The crowd was so load and cheered the jazz on. The fan support in Utah is unreal. I hope they win on Monday so the playoff streak for the Jazz...More
Have attended several NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament games at this venue. Sightlines are pretty good throughout the arena as one would expect from a NBA venue. Video boards are large and strategically located for easily keeping track of team and individual player stats. Only slip...More
This was our 4th time here for NBA or NCAA men’s basketball. Have been in four different sections and all have had good views. No real downside to the place but nothing mind blowing. Pretty standard barn, but the event staff have always been fabulous!
The arena is conveniently located on the Utah TRAX Blue Line for easy access from downtown hotels and has nearby parking. The arena staff are friendly and very helpful. I was privileged to attend a 2CELLOS concert and though I had a front row seat,...More
Attend three games and a concert here in the last 2 months. All events were great fun, win or lose. Very accommodating with my wheelchair and my service dog. Parking can be challenging, as with any downtown event.
Flew in from California to see Metallica here. I have seen them at the Rose Bowl and Colosseum with almost 100k people, and those concerts were nowhere near as cool as seeing them at the Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City. The 360 degree...More

I have never been to a Jazz game, so I can only give you what I have found on tickets in general. Do you have a friend who has Jazz season tickets? If so, they are the best source for getting tickets, either theirs of a friend of them. I have friends who have bought local sports tickets through Craig's list and got them cheaper than the list price. I have learned to try to go directly to the event (sports event or movie) ticket office instead of going through either Ticket Master or Fandango (I think they are only for movies). I am not sure if it is the usual practice, but both charged a premium fee on top of the ticket price. If I cannot find a ticket through a friend or Craig's list, I go to the ticket office. As a side note, I have friends who bought tickets off a vender on the street near the event and were told at the gate that the tickets were not valid. Just be aware and know precisely the look and feel of a genuine ticket. Enjoy the game.
