I took my wife for Valentines Day - performance was very well done. Beautiful costumes and elaborate sets. Close to 75 dancers. Performance was almost 3 hours long.

Loving ballet and living in SF while a frequent NY visitor, this ballet company is right up there shoulder to shoulder (in some ways maybe even better) with SF Ballet and NYC Ballet. The historical landmark theatre in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City is as breathtaking as the ballet performance. We saw Giselle and it was absolutely magnificent.... More

I am so proud of this Utah ballet company. Every performance I have seen is top notch and I've seen major companies in New York and Paris. You will not be disappointed.

We've been very impressed with the quality of the performances each of the many times we've gone to see Ballet West. The costumes and sets are outstanding, as well. They do a nice job of catering to local families by including children in many performances but in ways that are fitting and truly charming.

We had season tickets to ballets this year, and the programs were varied from traditional to modern. I much prefer the traditional ballets. I especially love The Nutcracker, though it wasn't part of the season ticket package. The dancers, music, costumes, stage sets are all awesome. There is a newly completed building adjoining the Capitol Theater, and it is impressive.

This was the first Ballet I have ever attended. I was absolutely floored by how fantastic this show was. I went with three co-worker's and we were all surprised by the beauty and accuracy of the dancers. Kristiana was flawless! The Swans were magnificent! All of the dancers are extremely talented! Thank you Ballet West for an incredible show. I... More

You don't have to love ballet to see Swan Lake. It's a beautiful story: man/Prince falls in love with woman/swan. Woman/swan dies. Man/Prince dies. Very traditional. I saw a terrific performance of the ballet in SLC this weekend. The costumes were sumptuous, the sets marvelous and the dancing excellent. The Capital Theatre is a wonderful setting in which to see... More

We saw the Saturday Matinee of Swan Lake at the brand new Janet Quinney Lawson Capital Theatre. The actors in this matinee were fabulous, the costumes stunning, and the orchestra was perfect. If you have not seen a ballet before, this is the one to see first!. I can not say enough about how beautiful it was.

The story itself is really fun, and the staging and dancing was exquisite. The Capitol Theater is a magnificent setting. The only thing that could improve it is to sell wine for the intermission. Yeah, I know, Utah!
