There were 9 passengers spaced throughout the bus, and all were wearing masks. Our driver compensated for several stops being closed by giving extra information and personal insight, because he had grown up in SLC. I highly recommend this tour.

We liked the overall experience getting to know about the history of SLC. Other than us (4), There were close to 10 passengers in the bus and they were all wearing masks.
Our guide was knowledgeable and in my opinion did a wonderful job. On our next trip, I would do the salt lake tour.
One thing to keep in mind there may be pickup delays. In our case we had to wait 30 minutes after the scheduled time.
If you have lot more time, I would recommend also biking the temple square areas after the tour and spending more time at each locations.

Our driver Ann was friendly, very informative and personable. The tour does have more walking and lots of stairs that is not mentioned in the description. It was difficult for those with bad knees or bad backs. The biggest downfall was a person who was riding along with the paying customers. He would interrupt the tour guide, make comments that didn’t pertain to anything we were discussing and boasted about himself and his personal adventures all the time. He even brought a notebook with head shots of celebrities in case we didn’t know who he was talking about. He is the reason I didn’t give 5 stars.

We are glad you enjoyed the tour. Sorry about the 87 year-old gentleman. He probably forgot to take his meds.

The tour began on a great note. We were picked up from our hotel at the designated time. After picking up other tourists we began on the tour. Each of the places we visited are free to enter, so the cost of the tour did not cover any additional costs. The cost of the tour times the number of people more than paid for the bus driver / guide and cost of the transportation. The tour noted Historic Brigham Street Mansions District: millionaire row from 100 years ago would be included. This was of very high interest to me; however, we drove down the street so fast I could not enjoy any of the architecture. If this is important to you, take a walk in the area. We did not get to see the striking architecture of the City Hall due to construction. The company was aware of the construction and could have taken alternate routes. At the end of the tour we chose to stay downtown and walk back to our hotel. This time was the most enjoyable as we were able to see the sights up close and at our pace. If not wanting to drive and worry about parking, this is the tour for you. If seeing what is important to you, then consider another option. Sorry for the delay in writing this review. I am an optimistic person and do not like giving negative reviews, so it took awhile to put my thoughts in a constructive manner. We visited in September 2019 not 2020.

We are glad you enjoyed certain parts of the tour. We try to do the best we can to meet everyone's expectations during a tour that is an overview of the City. It is not easy, however, especially in the middle of a worldwide pandemic.

We took the city tour on Oct.19 - a must if visiting the city for the first time.
No COVID concerns - masks were worn and hand sanitizer was provided.
Very professionally done - van was on time.

Many sites were closed due to COVID but that did not deter Michael from providing us with a great historical overview of the city. He was the best.

A great experience.

I've never taken a bus tour of a city before but I was pleasantly surprised at how informative and convenient this way of sightseeing was. The bus arrived on time and it was clean and comfortable. The driver/narrator was courteous and informative. Even though some of the sights were closed due to Covid restrictions the tour was still able to show many others that were open.

Our tour guide was very personable and entertaining. He was able to share both historic and current information and was very knowledgeable about all things related to Salt Lake City. The tour allowed the perfect amount of time at stops to walk about and take pictures. It was an excellent overview and provided the right amount of information on things I might like to see more of on my own time. Unfortunately the Tabernacle was being renovated at the time for earth quake protection, but the substitute stop at the Cathedral of Madeleine was quite lovely.

We were very disappointed in the guide and this tour. The Tabernacle Choir was absolutely great, but we could have attended that for free. The guide, Todd, was thoughtful but very low key for a guide and not very enlightened - he made a derogatory comment about women and shopping. I was interested in Pioneer Park and he dropped us off and directed us to it only to find out it is closed on a Sunday (he did not know that). This tour might make sense if you have no car, but as 4 adults we spent a lot and were very underwhelmed.

Our tour guide, Michael, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We enjoyed the stop at the State Capitol and hearing the short organ recital at The Tabernacle. We felt we saw a good overview of Salt Lake City that was reasonably priced.

It was a great overview of the city and the history behind it. We stopped at several places around town including temple square, “This is the place” park, the Union Pacific train station which was the mode for the Disneyland train station in Anaheim. Our guide was very informative and told us all about the history of the city from its founding up to the present.
