Had a solo tour guide show me around the place. It is breathtaking, especially the rooftop garden. If there is one thing in SLC you must do, it is this.

If you are visiting Salt Lake City for the first time and are wanting to see the LDS Temple Square, you must also include the LDS Conference Center. This is an incredible building with beautiful art pieces, history, small theatre and an austere auditorium. It...More

A very impressive building inside and out. Take the tour and you can see the auditorium that seats 10K people. Rooftop garden is interesting and another smart architectural feat.

This is a beautiful building with a wonderful presence. Sitting in downtown Salt Lake City it is across from historic Temple Square. The space is beautiful and the concerts are wonderful. This is truly an incredible experience. The roof top garden and stream is quite...More

Great views of the city, fantastic construction and impressive center when inside. Free tours are worth it and if in town when the choir performs its well worth it. People are very nice and take good care of you. I wish i was here to...More

Take a tour of Temple Square and make sure you visit the conference center. There is not one bad seat in this place. I hope I can make it back at Christmas time in the future. It is truly amazing and I'm sure at Christmas...More

We visited the Convention Center just to have a brief look and leave. This does not happen at this place. Tours are anywhere from 30 - 60 min. and ONLY with a guide, not on your own. It was interesting, I learned a lot. However,...More

It's main purpose is for the Mormon church's general conferences, but it is also used for large concerts and other art performances. It's deceptively large on the inside, and very beautiful. The sound quality for such a building is excellent too.

This place is amazing - it can seat over 20,000 people with no visible supports. The rooftop garden has plants by region depending on which direction you are facing. There is water channeling through that becomes a large waterfall down to the bottom floor at...More

Eventually saw the signs pointing to the tour entrance door. Then it was a first class, personalized tour of the features and functions. Must see the auditorium from the main floor and the upper levels. See the roof gardens with someone who knows the state's...More

I did not use the parking garage. I can recommend using the rail system to get around. I used to and from the airport in Salt Lake City. Clear and concise markings for where one would want to get on and off the train.

We enjoy both Temple Square and the conference center. If you get to the conference center early (around 8:15 or 8:30 am, I think) on Sunday morning, you can sit through the Mormon Tabernacle Choir broadcast of "Music and... More
