One would hope that the interior is as magnificent as the exterior. Located just blocks south and a little east of the state capitol, the governor could walk to work......but I'll lay a bet that he doesn't. Very unusual architecture in an area of very...More

An excellent example of what a Governor's Mansion should look like. Very well kept up, and has all the right trapments of a regal old mansion.

I have lived in Salt Lake City for many years. Finally I took time to take the tour. I am glad that I did today. I am glad they renovated the building after the fire.

Loved this mansion. Excellent guide. Very interesting history and beautiful house. Well worth the time. Check dates and times before you go though. A little off the beaten path so you want to plan well.

Beautiful building but nothing to see except to drive buy it. If you are there, you could walk down to the Historical Presbyterian Church on the same side of the road.
