Beautiful Details

Beautiful building with ornate architectural details inside. We always appreciate resting on the plush armchairs and couches when we've been walking around downtown.

The JSMB is a good place to go to see some LDS Church related films, learn about family history and enjoy the ambiance of a converted classic hotel.

The inside of the former hotel is beautiful. I love the piano playing in the lobby. You can watch a free movie from the LDS Church inside and the restaurants on the top floor are great. The view from the top floor is probably the best part.

Another of the Mormon gems. On the ground floor there is a remarkable coffee shop, but it is the view from the top floor which is 'to die for' ! A bridal group was there for photographs the day we were there .....ideal venue.

This building is technically an office building, but it has a beautiful lobby (when we got there they had a lady playing piano and singing), and awesome views from either side of the building on the 10th floor, completed with 2 restaurants.

This is a beautiful ornate building that used to be Hotel Utah back in the day where the most prestigious Salt Lake visitors stayed. The architecture is so elegant and ornate, it takes your breath away. The Garden Restaurant on the top floor or the Nauvoo Cafe on the bottom floor are great places to eat!

The main lobby is the most impressive area of this building, outside of that, there isn't anything that stands out. Everybody says the view at the top is great, but it's the view of industrial downtown Salt Lake. The other side is a view of the hill going up the Eastside. During the holidays they have Christmas lights everywhere and... More

My daughter had her wedding dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Best decision ever. I could not have been more pleased. Everyone involved goes above and beyond...you really are treated like royalty.
