The guides and tour directors are knowledgable and helpful and friendly. There are no charges for this service. This old hotel is historic and has been the center of SLC for a hundred years. It has been updated and is used as a tourist attraction and office building. Great restaurants.

The buildings was beautiful, marble and a piano in the foyer. We went to see the film in a massive auditorium and it was not what we expected. We thought it was a video on Mormonism and history of the church, it was more on selling the church, maybe that's to be expected.

If you like beautiful architecture and you like food, the JSMB is worth a stop while on Temple Square. I've eaten at The Garden Restaurant, the Cafe, the Lion House, and catered events. The presentation and service is always top-notch. Tasty food, and oh, the rolls! You must have their rolls. Take the elevator up to the 9th or 10th... More

It's a beautiful old hotel that's been renovated into a multi-use building. The Christmas decorations are amazing and it's a must see this time of year.

Beautiful building with ornate architectural details inside. We always appreciate resting on the plush armchairs and couches when we've been walking around downtown.

The JSMB is a good place to go to see some LDS Church related films, learn about family history and enjoy the ambiance of a converted classic hotel.

The inside of the former hotel is beautiful. I love the piano playing in the lobby. You can watch a free movie from the LDS Church inside and the restaurants on the top floor are great. The view from the top floor is probably the best part.
