Ok grownups its time for an evening at the zoo without the kids and for a good cause! This is a small very well done zoo (I used to be a zookeeper at a different zoo). Our party had a great time. The little owl that was out and about with a keeper for meet and greet, the giraffe feeding... More

The zoo is perfect for families with younger kids elementary school age and younger. Yes there is a lot of walking I recommend a wagon for the younger ones. It should only take you about 2-3 hours to see everything including playing on some of the playgrounds, riding the train and the carousel. There are lots of volunteers at some... More

Spent a wonderful day with our Grand Children. It was pre Christmas, cold with a bright sunny day. The Otters, Apes, Elephants and Penguins where our favourites.

Hoyle Zoo was established in 1931 and its long heritage of taking great care of the animals was very evident during our visit. I love the texture of the zoo, having been built in the foothills of the Wasatch Front with Salt Lake City growing up around it.

Great zoo. New polar bear exhibit. Elephant one is very cool too, as is the otter exhibit. Restaurant offers gray tasting hot chocolate, guaranteed to make any teenager happy.

We spent five hours here with our eight year old and five year old. We had a great time and probably could have spent more time if we had it. The free bird show was excellent. Steve, the bird trainer, had a bird in the show that he had only been working with three months. We saw a cockatoo, eagles,... More

Since there are no reviews for 2 women in their 20s woth no children I knew the reiew needed to be left. I came with my sister in law who loves animals but has never been to a zoo. We came at 930am and it was pretty empty. Spent 1.5 hours and saw everything (no shows). Definitely more busy when... More

We visited from the UK and enjoyed our visit. We thought the Family pass of $40.85 was good value for the day. Our 8 year old enjoyed seeing all the different animals and also having fun on the playgrounds. The staff work hard to ensure the animals are well cared for but we thought the crocodiles could have been provided... More

We easily spent 4.5 hours at this outstanding zoo. Yes, it is small compared to "big city" zoo's, but the staff and information plaques were informative and well done. They have made it fun to walk around with music at some of the areas and great animal enclosures. The animals seem well taken care of and whole zoo is very... More
