I'm sorry you missed seeing the polar bear, but as a local, I can assure you that the zoo isn't hiding anything. When Rizzo, the bear, started end-of-life care, it was all over the local news and again after she died, it was all over...More

If you like an educational experience for people of all ages that involves a highly varied group of animals, this zoo is your spot. Very enjoyable and reasonable priced.

It was a little cold, so we spent a lot of time in the Great Apes house, just watching the Orangs and gorillas enjoying the indoors with us. A good-sized zoo -- even if there were a lot of school children spending the day in...More

I don't like writing bad reviews but for this zoo I can't help it. We had an extra day before flying home so we stopped here. It's about $17 to get in and it's a decent size zoo. Not huge but they have a decent...More

Very nice zoo, animals seem to be taken care of very well and my kids loved the monkey area. A lot to do expect to spend at least 3-4 hours here.

We went one evening to the Zoo lights! Other than very cold- it was sooo amazing! We did get to see a snow leopard outside while we were there! We will certainly plan a trip there again!

We spent a good 3 hours going through the zoo. It was a cooler day and the animals were slow moving, but so were we. :) I loved that it wasn't your typical zoo...you really had a lot to see the whole way through, there...More

This is a small zoo, but it has a great variety of animals. We especially enjoyed seeing an owl up close that was out with a zoo staff member. The staff person answered many questions about the owl and was friendly and patient with the...More

Technically wheel chair accessible, but its very hilly and some of the paths are fairly steep for a wheel chair. Its a small Zoo with just enough animals to qualify for average. It feels fairly new. The Seal/Sea lion exhibit is pretty nice.

My wife and I spent about two hours and saw it all. We didn't stop for any of the shows, and it did rain on us a bit, so we hid out under cover for a few minutes. We also took time to eat lunch. We don't have kids we were... More
