My son and I just escaped three rooms and had Skylar as our game master- he was great and accommodating and just a nice guy. The rooms are well set up and a lot of fun to do. They are a busy place so the word must be out how good the rooms are!!!

Experienced the "Walk the Plank" interactive escape adventure with a group of teens. It was a lot of fun for both youth and adults, honestly the challenge was what made it so enjoyable, it was actually harder than I anticipated. Even if you don't finish in 60 minutes (we didn't) its engaging enough that it doesn't matter and we didn't feel frustrated. In my opinion smaller groups make it easier and less chaotic (recommend 6 people max). Staging was incredible and staff was friendly and helpful. Can't wait until my next visit in one of the other two adventures that are offered.

I've played a lot of escape games, and let me just say this one is my favorite. Escape games started as simply a puzzle, and have evolved. This business brings the escape game industry to another level, specializing in special effects to enhance gameplay and realistic sets. I asked about some of their props, and they had actual time period books used in the cluestream and an actual code machine (I don't know exactly what it was) but it was authentic from WWII period; these guys spared no expense to make the best escape games in Utah. I highly recommend them. And the gameplay is top notch too, they have some of the most creative puzzles I've ever seen. It was a blast, definitely a must do in SLC.

My daughter loved her escape experience! It was a perfect party for her friends. We did the "Curse of Anubis" It was fun, very challenging--especially for 10 year olds. But the staff was so great with clues and helping the girls feel successful. I highly recommend this as a party for ANY age. My daughter and her friends were talking about all the times they will return ;-)

I'm an ER owner and game enthusiast. I play all around the U.S. when I travel. I happen to have family in SLC so I often play when I visit. Escape on 13th is BY FAR the best company in the area. You should expect this since they've run a successful Haunt for years. Their sets are incredible, with really awesome props, lighting and sound effects. You really feel transported. You are not in a strip mall in a lightly dressed room playing table top games (which some of the ERs in SLC are!). While family friendly, the games were challenging. My personal opinion I wouldn't recommend for kids under 10. Great for work teams, families with tweens and teens, date-night, college night out. Don't waste your time or money anywhere else. Play here and have a ton of fun for the experienced and newbies alike.

A 4 instead of a 5 because we were forced to turn a hand-crank for way too long!! I complained and maybe they found another way to do it.

An extremely well-designed, immersive, and fun experience for the whole group! It was challenging, but not impossible. The room encouraged (even required) lots of teamwork and kept us engaged the whole time!

This was BY FAR the best experience I've had in an Escape Room. I've been to escape rooms in OKC, Dallas, and Miami, and "Escape on 13th" was the most interactive, realistic, and engaging place I've seen. The "Curse of Anubis" room was phenomenal. Very high-tech and a great challenge. I recommend this place with zero reservations. The only caution is that the "Curse of Anubis" room was a little creepy. Maybe not suitable for children under 12. Other than, two thumbs up!

I've visited many escape rooms throughout the valley, and this one is my FAVORITE so far. The two rooms my group and I have done (Curse of Anubis, and Rogue Agent) where phenomenal! The special effects were amazing and the whole experience was extremely entertaining; these guys know how to make a great escape room. I highly recommend this as an activity to do while you're visiting Salt Lake, and I can't wait to go back and give the Walk the Plank room a try. So. Much. FUN!

We have plans to go to to escape on 13th with family and my husband is worried that it might be to scary for our 3 almost 4 year old son. I heard kids are allowed but not sure of the ages. My son loves scary/ creepy stuff so I don't believe he will get scared at all so any feed back would be appreciated, thank you!
