Beautiful building with extraordinary rooms of different styles built in 1927 and near the Governor's Mansion. The Freemasons in Utah established the first public Library in Utah in 1877. This building contains works of art from American, French, and English artists. It would be best to call 801 363-2936 to arrange a free tour. Well worth your time.

Just had supper here w/my Wife & son. FABULOUSITY! Great drinks from Shelly & Ted @ the bar. Our server, Chuck is 1 of the BEST examples of a true professional. Kurt, kitchen manager, put out some amazing dishes. Good to see The Boss (Rich Huie) running a well oiled restaurant machine, even after 30+ years! You got a special occasion, put this underground restaurant on your Food Bucket List! ENJOY & treat yourself...

During my hols in downtown SLC last week I walked all the way up there thanks to a last-minute recommendation from one of the staff at my hotel. Being from Belgium and much into the free mason symbolism I was thrilled to have a detailed look at this Masonic Temple. Though it was only from the outside as Temple was closed nor was a tour possible, I was more than pleased to absorb the whole architectural style with according symbols and reflect on history. Definately worth your while!

I went on a tour when they had it open to the public (generally, it’s not open to the public). It’s got neat rooms decorated in different styles, but was in need of some modernisation. All in all, it was pretty cool!
