As soon as you walk in you're approached by missionaries trying to convert you to this cult. They are delusional, very pushy and self-righteousness. This so called religion is all about the money and mind control. If you want to visit a beautiful religious building go east a few blocks to the cathedral of the Madeline. Avoid the Mormon temple... Although I've visited Temple Square many times, I am always amazed at the beauty of the buildings and landscape. We were able to hear the Mormon Chorale practice since the choir was off that night. To not be members of the choir, they were amazing. The 4 soloists were outstanding. To me, they were as good as the Choir and... More

We had a wonderful evening with our son and daughter in law and 3 granddaughters. We all enjoyed looking at everthing and enjoying the sights and sounds. This trip is one that we take every 3 or 4 months throughout the year. It is nice to have it so close.

This was my first trip to Salt Lake City. I really enjoyed the whole "Temple" experience. Yes some of the Mormons will "hassle" you a little , but be firm and polite and you don't have to walk away with a Book of Mormon. The museum, so to speak, answered some questions for me and I found it to be... More

This is a beautiful place to visit. The grounds are very well taken care of and there is a visitor center. Free tours are given by young women who tell about Utah and the Mormon heritage. Such a peaceful place.

This is the center for the LDS faith. The church buildings are beautiful and a large auditorium has everything to answer all questions, very friendly guides.

There is a certain sense of peacefulness that prevails in that space, even though there are tons of people. It's a cool place to take people who speak other languages. There are usually 40 or 50 native speaking people who can give tours and answer questions.
