We were looking forward to visiting the center, but upon arrival, a posted sign said that the gift shop is closed as of June 4. Also, the museum was hosting a private event and that part was closed also. Very disappointed!

This is a small but interesting museum, very important to experience, as Native American presence is critical to this area, & should be part of every visitor's focus. There's art here, & artifacts, in a beautiful setting. Gift shop, too.

The main building has crafts and artifacts from local native Americans. There is a fabulous gift center that showcases handiwork from first Nations people of BC and also Washington state.
