An interesting art venue for local or regional artists. I have visited two times. The first time featured a ceramic artists with amazing works, it took quite some time to spend observing each detailed sculpture. There were also many other quality works being shown. This year there was a more local "Christmas" sale theme that had a wide variety or works. Some pretty terrific artisans in the area!

Walking on the paths that weave through Webster's Woods , your eyes will be surprised and delighted, and your inspiration will fire. Artists have created works from nature as well as recovered waste, and tucked them into the trees, suspected them within the crowns of trees, even planted them just beneath the dirt. I absolutely loved this place and wish I could go back easily to see what I missed the first time around, but alas, I live in Montana so it might be a couple more years.

Each year we visit the Port Angeles fine Art Center and walk the trails at the Webster Woods Art Park. It's a fun experience and the exhibits change and evolve a little bit each visit. The center itself doesn't have too much to see, but it's worth a stop. Webster Woods is quite eclectic and interesting. Various artworks are scattered in the 5 acre environment with rambling narrow trails leading you from one to another. Some works are hidden so you have to hunt them out. Some are up in the trees, others on the ground. Sculptures are creative and often surprise a person when you come around a corner on the trail. This center is near the community college.

We've traveled widely to more than 45 countries, and love to visit art museums and galleries where ever we go. This sculpture garden, which is open all the time, is well worth a visit. What makes it unique was the fact that much of the art is meant to be in the space it is placed, or it is "ephemeral art", meaning it is meant to decay naturally with its surroundings. Look up! Look to the tree over there! Look down beneath your feet! the art is everywhere, and more than half the fun is finding where it is hidden. A great place for adults and children alike, since there are dozens and dozens of pieces of art, if you can find them all while walking the paths, which are many. Like an art scavenger hunt or geo-caching. So much fun, and some of the pieces are truly unique and lovely. The inside gallery had the annual event for plein air artists painting in Olympic National Park, so an added bonus for us. But we really loved the outdoor space. And it's free, no excuse to get a little culture. Thank you!

The art Center was closed in the middle of the afternoon or this might have been a higher rating. We did enjoy the walking outdoor trails with our dog and the primitive art there. Also there are a couple nice views and this part was free.

As the previous review said, it's a little hard to find, but well worth it! There's a lovely art gallery with a great view overlooking Port Angeles town and harbor, across from Victoria B.C, and surrounded by a 5-acre art park. The trails through the park lead you to over 100 sculptures and art installations. The park is open daily, dawn to dusk. The gallery is open Wed - Sun. Admission is free. The website (pafac.org) will show you more.

yes, very well planned and diverse art and great Woodsy gallery, too the now-retired curator was a very gifted visionary and artist himself. Great place outdoors, too, for kids to run and explore safely with wild natural enhancements to the encironment. e.g., huge ball of ivy-rolled up like yarn, etc...

It was OK but poorly kept up and trail seemed to meander everywhere so tough to follow and see what was there, In hindsight we could have skipped.

Paint the Peninsula is an annual special event that brings artists from all over to create works in oil, water color or pastels for display, competition and sale. They create multiple pictures daily at designated local locations. People can visit these location and watch the artists at work and engage in conversation. Other special exhibits at the Center are interesting. The grounds of the Center have wandering trails with unexpected ecclectic sculptures woven into the landscape.

This was often a favorite place for me and my children. The gentle woodland path led through acres of quirky art utilizing the natural setting. There was a Japanese Meditation Garden in the center. Sadly, on a recent must of this has been removed and the woods to have suffered neglect and vandalism. Perhaps with the coming of spring this year things will have improved.
