Who knew - big waves, cruise ships, fresh salty air? Ediz Hook has it all. Very refreshing place to visit. We watched two cruise ships go into Victoria, a container ship, the ferry to Victoria, bird, waves - amazing! Could have stayed for hours, but...More

This is fun, a brief stop while in Port Angeles, but if your schedule doesn't allow the time to walk the spit, then don't worry too much. We saw quite a few harmless snakes, feral cats, and birds. If you geocache, there's some here too.

Well worth the short drive to get a perspective of the landscape. Plenty of parking. Restroom, while spartan, was clean and accessible. I look forward to my next trip.

Go at sunset - and take a camera! Port Angeles and the Olympic Mountains on one side, the sun setting over the Pacific on the other. Amazing!!

We love going to Ediz Hook, great place to let the dogs run, see the sunset and just listen to the waves crash on the rocks. One of our favorites!

Ediz Hook is a stunning site along the Strait of Juan de Fuca, providing great birding views to the Strait and to the Port Angeles harbor. It attracts rare birds in winter. I only rate it an average though because the city allows the feeding...More

Recommended by front desk staff of Olympic Lodge. Excellent directions and information. We saw many seals looking for their morning meal. Many large ships and USCG station. Excellent off the path visit!
