This would be a perfect school trip, rainy day activity or- due to the fountains out front- a great way to beat the heat on a summer day!!

We held a meeting at this beautiful venue for a children's organization for which we provide adult leadership. The children who attended range from 2-18. We had approximately 90 adults and children. Gwen was the administrator who helped us pre-plan the details of the event, and she was very accessible and helpful the whole day we were there, as were... More

a very interesting collection of sports memorabilia from sports heroes whose roots originate in Georgia. All sports are represented in this eclectic assemblage of wonderful items. Allow yourself plenty of time to take an easy stroll through the hall of fame to take in all that it has to offer.

You will be amazed how many items and people you will recognize that are in the GA Sports Hall of Fame. Very interactive, hands on exhibits that kids will love on a rainy day or a really hot one. Try a field goal, shoot some hoops, or take a NASCAR demo around the track. Fun and enjoyable. Worth the small... More

I am not big into sports as a spectator, but this place is very nice, covers a lot of sports and kept some of the paintings that were house in the now defunct music hall of fame. Well laid out, beautiful space.

If you are into sports, especially sports in Georgia, this is the place for you. The good is it does not focus just on UGA but many schools and also multiple sports - including baseball, tennis, cycling (!), equestrian, golf and many more. If you are into sports, this is definitely worth your time. Very well laid out and lots... More

The museum is in a good location downtown. It is near public transportation and near many of the other museums which is convenient when visiting Macon. It has other activities for children to do besides the typical display of the athletes.
