Stuck in GA due to accident & decided to visit here. Lots of activities for kids, as an older Adult (who has been to many museums) there really wasn't much to see. I will say it is very nice for a medium town. Not something I would go way off the highway to see. This would be a great local... More

Went with friend who was visiting from out of town as there really wasn't too much going on. This place was small but surprisingly fun. Spun around in gyroscope thing which was good but planetarium was the bomb. So serene. Best nap in years.

We live in FL & had planned on spending our son's birthday here only to find out it was closed. Nothing posted on the website as I had checked their calendar 2 days earlier. Then they tells us it'll open at 2pm but when we call back they decided they needed time to clean up so it will now be... More

This is a very good museum for a small town. It has a lot of hands on activities and our grandchildren loved being on the on TV screen weather report. They really like the wildlife demonstration and the number of snakes, birds and other critters they got to see up close.

I have been to museums but never a planetarium, so this was a treat. It was a fun and interesting visit. My son and his friends (age 18) had fun playing with the green screen weather forecast in the hands on science area. The planetarium was very interesting, showing the southern sky throughout the year. It was a great show.

This is a great place to visit and take the kids too. There are plenty activities for the kids to see and do. There is many different hands on things that children can do. The family really enjoyed the time we spent here.

One of my favorite places in Macon to visit. Always something new to see and wonderful employees. Must check out the gift shop before you leave.

The Museum of Arts and Sciences is a local museum that has rotating exhibits. Sometimes it has dinosaurs animatronics, sometimes comet videos, and other times art displays. Since the displays rotate, it is easy to wait until you see one that interests you. The museum is small, with a basement section that has some basic displays for younger children. Overall,... More
