Cannon Hall Farm is a large, family run farm attraction. Sitting in the rolling Pennine foothills, it's home to hundreds of animals, waiting to welcome you to a world of animal magic. Home to one of the biggest and best equipped playgrounds in the north of England and the largest tube maze in Europe our adventure playground is one of the biggest and best in the north of England. The farm shop is famous for home produced beef, pork, lamb and a huge variety of sausages. Our on site bakery produces award winning pies and delicious artisan bread every morning. The tearoom serves delicious home cooked food. New for 2015, The Hungry Llama indoor play and restaurant adds a great indoor option with some dramatic slides and innovative play features to a day that's already packed with fun. Winner of Best Tourism Experience at The White Rose Awards in 2011, Cannon Hall Farm was highly commended in the same category in the Visit England Awards 2012. The farm won the New Innovation Award for it's new farmyard in the National Farms for Schools Awards 2015 and has been shortlisted for the Best Large Attraction Award at the White Rose Awards in both 2014 and 2015.

My husband a I were bought a gift voucher for afternoon tea here. We booked for Saturday afternoon but it wasn't too busy. However, as much as the staff were pleasant none of them seemed to know what they were doing. When we arrived, we asked where we should sit. The waitress said she didn't know and would find out.... We used to go to the farm many years ago and so were looking forward to visiting again with my 5yr old nephew but unfortunately the farm is a victim of its success and has grown too large. Or maybe health and safety has been massively tightened up but the only animals you could get up close to were a... More

They have spent a lot on revamping the restaurant/cafe and it's large and spacious if a bit "canteen like". We have been a few times for breakfast and the standard of food varies considerably. Prices are on the high side, staff service is variable, sometimes good sometimes terrible and appears to be ruled by volume of trade, the more customers... More

We went to Cannon Hall Farm for lunch today, the hottest day of the year so far. The restaurant has a bar and plenty of room for diners. The food was good and the service prompt. The parking is £3 for all day but refunded if you spend at least £10 in restaurant. The air-conditioning was set to "just right".... More

My eldest daughter got invited to one of her friends birthday parties that they'd booked in the play gym. My youngest daughter wasn't on the guest list so we were told we'd have to pay for her, all this we knew before arriving. We were under the impression we would only have to pay for our youngest daughter. On arrival... More
