Cannon Hall Farm is a large, family run farm attraction. Sitting in the rolling Pennine foothills, it's home to hundreds of animals, waiting to welcome you to a world of animal magic. Home to one of the biggest and best equipped playgrounds in the north of England and the largest tube maze in Europe our adventure playground is one of the biggest and best in the north of England. The farm shop is famous for home produced beef, pork, lamb and a huge variety of sausages. Our on site bakery produces award winning pies and delicious artisan bread every morning. The tearoom serves delicious home cooked food. New for 2015, The Hungry Llama indoor play and restaurant adds a great indoor option with some dramatic slides and innovative play features to a day that's already packed with fun. Winner of Best Tourism Experience at The White Rose Awards in 2011, Cannon Hall Farm was highly commended in the same category in the Visit England Awards 2012. The farm won the New Innovation Award for it's new farmyard in the National Farms for Schools Awards 2015 and has been shortlisted for the Best Large Attraction Award at the White Rose Awards in both 2014 and 2015.

Had afternoon tea here with my mum as there is an offer for £9.95 during May (normally £12.95). Sandwiches are nice, open bread rolls, ham and piccalilli, egg mayonnaise and salmon. Good large scones, jam and clotted cream. A slice of fruit cake, carrot cake, Victoria sponge and a little trifle. Good amount of cakes, had to take some home!... More

Really nice historic place to visit, especially for walks to explore the land it sits on as well. Lovely farm to see the animals would definitely recommend for families. We went when there was a really good food festival on top which was brilliant can't find something like that local!

What a wonderful place to visit. Seeped in history lots of variety with a farm shop selling good quality meat, reasonably priced. Great place to walk dogs and a farm with a variety of animals for children to visit

I have just returned home from this farm and had to write a review. What a great day we had. This is the cleanest farm I have ever been to. Animals are very well looked after. Kids play areas are fantastic. The sheep and ferret racing were so much fun. We ate in the cafe in the soft play area... More

If it's dry there's all of the animals, the plethora of outdoor adventure playground, sheep and ferret racing and picnic areas. If it's raining you can still se the animals, the children can play in the indoor play centre and the restaurant... More

First time visiting Cannon Hall Farm and my only negative is, why we hadn't found this little gem sooner. Visited with our three children. Explored the beautiful park area and garden centre then walked across to the farm. The kids were entertained all day. Feeding farm animals, watching the ferret races, tractor rides and the three outdoor play areas. There... More

We took our 2 year old daughter. Very impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the farm. The indoor soft play is really good as well. Highly recommend a visit.
