We hiked the Panther Creek Trial to Debord Falls...We then continued on to Emery Gap Falls. The first part of the trip was a very easy walk to Debord Falls. There is an overlook and you can also take the stairs down to the bottom of the falls. We then continued to Emery Gap Falls. Make sure you climb the... More

This park is beautiful. We visited here a couple days ago my daughter was camping here and all the leaves on the trees were changing to goergous yellows and reds. Their campsite felt like it was deep in the woods with so many trees around. There is hiking and picnic areas. A very nice place to relax and have some... More

Beautiful mountains, waterfalls, trails, spring flowers, fall colors, serenity. Best kept secret in the valley. Fall colors are the same as smokys but without traffic and commercial strip nightmares of pigeon forge and Sevierville. Easily spend 1-2 days here and then head on to obed wild and scenic river or big south fork. Gorgeous.

We go to Frozen Head a lot throughout the year. There is so much to do there. We hike, ride our bikes and play on the playground. There is also places to camp and shelters that you can rent out for special occasions.

Absolutely one of the best hiking parks in TN. If you want away from the hustle and bustle of life, this is the place for you. I love the waterfalls and the mountains.

Beautiful state park perfect for hiking, camping, reunions, wading, fishing, bicycle riding, and taking long walks. The scenery is some of the prettiest in East TN

We visited this park for a day hike in June. We found the spot easily enough - you pass by a penitentiary on the way and very little for food/supplies. There was plenty of parking at the trail head. We enjoyed a shaded hike through a dense forest with backcountry campsites, multiple trail options, some water features, a geocache, and... More
