Meeting Dorian was a great experience. He has been here around 18 years with about 30 years of SCUBA Instructor under his belt. He is professional, clear and safe to dive with and has an excellent local knowledge of the dive sites, marine life, WW2 and other wreck sites as well as sharing his delight with all of these local treasures. There are shallow reef dives and boat wrecks, through to deep water experiences along rock walls into the Bismarck Sea. All of this in warm water with only board-shorts and a rash vest required. The rest of your gear can be supplied on site.…

Diving with Jason and Jolene was the icing on the cake of a wonderful wander through Kavieng. In addition to their skilled and extensive dive knowledge, their stories of local history and life around town provided the perfect complement to restful evenings in the cool breeze on the veranda. From underwater plane wrecks to reef dives to sea walls, every dive was unique and I only wish I had had more days available! Thanks Scuba Ventures! …

We did 4 dives over two days with Jolene and it was a definite highlight of our two week trip to New Ireland! The whole crew & especially Jolene were fun, super supportive, professional & catered to our needs & abilities very well. Dive guides were great support underwater, we felt very safe, & they were great at pointing out cool things along the way. Great fun, great visibility, warm (comfortably diving in boardies) large array of beautiful fish, coral, stingrays, reef sharks, WW2 wrecks & nudibranchs (wow! Love those lil guys!) looking forward to coming back for more soon, Thanks heaps scuba ventures!…

Scuba Ventures tailor dives to the individual and their experience. With a stunning array of dive sites available there is the opportunity to visit reefs, wrecks and drifts. Fish life is abundant and the water is pristine. A truly memorable experience.

We stayed at the Nusa Resort in Kavieng and went for 6 dives with Scuba Ventures (4 with Jason and 2 with Jolene). All of them were just great like the Albatross Passage, Echuca / Der Yang and Ral Island. Everything was very professionell. They made a detailled briefing before the dives and as we haven't been diving for quite some time, they looked carefull after us :-) All dives were in a small group and were fitted to our experience level. As we were a little scarred of the negative entry at Albatros Passage, Jason showed us an easy entry point so we could enjoy the passage without stress. Really cool was that they made plenty of nice fotos and videos of us with their GoPro and gave them to us afterwards. Thanks a lot!! So if you are staying around Kavieng, we highly recommend Scuba Ventures!!…
