As expected- an excellent experience diving with Dorian and his team! It is my second time diving with Scuba Ventures, and I recommend them to anyone interested in quality 5 star experience. Dorian is very knowledgeable and just a joy to be around! Always on time, always listening to his customers wishes, customising dives accordingly. His dive team is incredible! Very safe, reliable and quality focused dive operator!

Meeting Dorian was a great experience. He has been here around 18 years with about 30 years of SCUBA Instructor under his belt.

He is professional, clear and safe to dive with and has an excellent local knowledge of the dive sites, marine life, WW2 and other wreck sites as well as sharing his delight with all of these local treasures.

There are shallow reef dives and boat wrecks, through to deep water experiences along rock walls into the Bismarck Sea.

All of this in warm water with only board-shorts and a rash vest required. The rest of your gear can be supplied on site.

We had a stellar weeks diving with Scuba Ventures. The variety of sites is one of the key features of this area and the 30C water and great visibility made the experience hard to beat. Boat, equipment and service were top notch and Dorian is good company and a knowledgable dive professional. Particularly appreciated being able to copy his GoPro footage at no charge. Good value all round.

We stayed at the Nusa Resort in Kavieng and went for 6 dives with Scuba Ventures (4 with Jason and 2 with Jolene). All of them were just great like the Albatross Passage, Echuca / Der Yang and Ral Island. Everything was very professionell. They made a detailled briefing before the dives and as we haven't been diving for quite some time, they looked carefull after us :-)

All dives were in a small group and were fitted to our experience level. As we were a little scarred of the negative entry at Albatros Passage, Jason showed us an easy entry point so we could enjoy the passage without stress.

Really cool was that they made plenty of nice fotos and videos of us with their GoPro and gave them to us afterwards. Thanks a lot!!

So if you are staying around Kavieng, we highly recommend Scuba Ventures!!

After well over a year of living in Kavieng, I finally got the chance to get out for a dive with Scuba Ventures. It was my first dive in over 3 years, and Jason couldn't have been more professional and supportive. He made me feel very comfortable and ensured my dive was not only safe, but very enjoyable.
So much to see, I'll be back out again with Scuba Ventures soon! Thanks for getting me in the water, finally!

Had one of the most coolest dives I have had so far in PNG with Scuba Ventures. A couple friends and I dived an old fishing boat wreck at 30m, then cruised up along a beautiful reef teeming with life. This was and will stand as one of my favorite EVER dives! Everything was organised and carried out so smoothly, we had a great diving experience. Cannot recommend enough.
Thanks to Jason and team for being so helpful, informative and for taking us out on short notice. Will definitely be back for more diving in the near future.

My brother and I are avid scuba divers and we were expecting above average diving and experiences in The Bismarck Sea. But the diving was above and beyond our expectations, in all aspects. We stayed at Nusa Island Resort, which liaises closely with Scuba Adventures to make the diving pickups and timetables smooth. The dive sites were exceptional, visibility was 40 metres, water temperature was a reliable 29-30 degrees and the water conditions were flat and calm. The currents were mostly benign, and so floating along was just divine. However if there was a current the dive guides managed and directed the dive so it was not a problem. The WW11 wrecks were so exciting, especially the planes, the coral was brilliant and perfectly picture postcard, and the walls were dramatic and awesome. Fish and marine life were abundant and it seemed like we were in an aquarium. Thanks to Dorian, Jason and Jolene who took us to exceptional dive sites to mix up the variety as we were booked for 20 dives. They also went into great detail to explain the history of the Japanese occupation and the battles that caused each of our wrecks to end up resting where they were on the bottom of the ocean. Our dive plans were meticulously explained before entry onto the dive site. Every dive was just wonderful and after each dive it was the wow factor. Thanks to also the marvellous local crew too. Apo, Seabo, Robert and Bruce, all professionals, taking great care of their guests. If you want a dive experience of a great category, whether you're experienced and seasoned or just a once in a while diver, Scuba Ventures will make it happen. Good Luck guys Judy, Adelaide, South Australia.

Very pleasant snorkeling around some of the best sites in PNG. Dorian happened to be away but Jason did a good job of guiding us around some great sites. It is worth requesting the sites over on the New Hanover side like Ral Island as they tend to be more spectacular than the closer to Nusa Island.

My partner and I dived with Jason from Scuba Ventures whilst in Kavieng for a week.

We did 5 dives over two days and got to experience a wide range of dive sites and fish diversity. We dive reef walls, channels, ship wrecks and plane wrecks.

The most important thing with Jase and his team was they planned the dives around what we wanted to see and do. I wanted wrecks and my partner wanted walls. So we got to see everything we wanted and more.

Also the night after the dive Jase popped over to our hotel and shared a meal and showed us the GoPro footage of our dive he took. It was fun to chat about the dives and to get footage of us diving!

Most importantly I found Jase and his team to be extremely trusting and methodical in preparation of equipment and diver safety. Having dived in numerous places around the world and often with divers I have never met before I put a high value on dive operators which make my partner and I feel safe when diving with them and on their equipment. I certainly felt safe in Jase and his team's hands.

I would highly recommend diving with Scuba Ventures and I will hopefully be coming back!
