Visited the Glacier Pools today and was pleasantly delighted to have my expectations exceeded. Was welcomed by a lovely young lady at the front counter who was able to help me with all questions. The 3 public pools are heated to differing temperatures. I stayed...More

After spending the whole day climbing the glacier this was the perfect way to unwind. It's perfect to be able to walk freely between the 36, 38 and 40 degree pools. Love it!

We took a private pool and really enjoyed it - solitude and luxury bathing surrounded by lush rainforest, well worth the extra few dollars!

After 3 days of doing various walks around Franz Josef and Fox soaking in the hot pools was the perfect way to end our stay here. The pools are man-made but done in such a way that they blend in well with the native bush...More

Three smallish public pools in a nice surrounding beside a modern building selling tours and clothing. Pools were pleasant and at a comfortable temperature, but with a whopping price of $20pp + $5 towel hire, it compares poorly to other NZ hot pools. Would have...More

We rented a private pool here and it was fantastic. The pool is in its private courtyard area with a little cabana type building with a shower and bathroom/changing room. The pool is half covered and it was drizzling with rain while we were there...More

Had hoped for an experience similar to geothermic pools. Was not that way. It was really just like using hot tub at home. Water was chlorinated. I did enjoy the heat, just thought the experience was over-rated.
