This was the last vineyard I visited, a family run establishment, I was made to feel very welcome, the wine was superb, this is a small vineyard and has a pleasant nice touch, the owners started by planting all the vines by hand, blood, sweat, tears and a lot of hard work has gone into producing this outstanding vineyard with... This is a small boutique family owned winery and was the smallest of the wineries we visited in the district. I wasn't a huge fan of the wines but that's what its all about right? Very relaxed and pretty setting. Well worth the stop.

This is possibly the smallest cellar door we visited on our entire trip. We tasted some great tasting wines and we can even get them back in the UK. Worth looking out for.

We stopped in at this small winery and had the pleasure of being hosted by the owners themselves - a rare treat. She was very knowledgeable and spoke about their story with us. We loved the fact that we had such easy access to the owners' personal story. The wines were great too. Visit if you are in the area.

Not too crowded, we were very well greeted and welcomed. The guy who helped us was really interesting, talked about the wines, the lands, the owners. Even got the dog to come out and see us, as we are following the wine dogs book suggestions. The wines are good. The overall experience is great. Highly recommend!

We visited Bladen as part of a tour, but the winerie was by the best we visited, for both the quality of the wine and the host was enthusiastic, entertaining and informative.

I was really excited about this vineyard because I was already told by our bike tour (wine tours by bike - also highly recommended) that this was owned by a couple and was quite small. The couple were away but we had the brother, David (I think), and he was so welcoming and lovely! He had some great stories to... More

On a much too short stay in Marlborough County we stopped at only three open wine cellar doors (and some a lot of closed ones, at 16:00...veeery strange) from which Bladen was definitly the most cosy, most relaxed and most personal one. Hand crafted grapes and wine, 100% owner run. And sooo happy to now a German distributor having at... More

We spent a happy hour chatting and tasting and Bladen. A warm welcome and some fine wines - what could be better?
