Excellent country museum. Run by a team of dedicated knowledgeable volunteers . It’s worth visiting just to stare in wonder at the giant Kauri growing there along with native bush . Great variety of exhibits from yesteryear. Well worth a visit

We really enjoyed visiting this very special museum. The displays were really well done, a lot to see. We were also greeted by extremely welcoming volunteers who were passionate about the place.
We would definately recommend this museum to all.
Lovingly tended by volunteers, .warkeorth Museum is a fascinating stroll through the area history, including NZ service during World Wars, the settlement of the area, and lots of social history including beautiful women’s handicrafts.
