Snells beach is one of those beaches that can seem like two different places depending on the weather and tide. I live locally and love it in all conditions but it's absolutely at it's best when the tide is in, sun is shining and pohutakawas...More

Used to be a lovely spot, sadly many new houses= more people around trying to get their ways for everything :( Lost a lot the sense of community becoming a "let's point fingers at the others", speacially using binocolars!!!! Sad! ;( ;(

I love walking on this beach, which I have renamed shells beach as it is covered with beautiful shells. When the sun is shining there is no better place to walk your dog.

Snells Beach is typical of NZ's natural beauty. Views of the nearby islands are simply gorgeous. This lovely bay is safe for swimming for young and old and a wonderful safe boating paradise.

Beautiful views to Kawau Island. Lovely paved walkway along sea front with plenty of shady spots to sit & picnic, read or just enjoy the scenery. Safe swimming. Close to cafes, & lots of other things to see & do.

A convenient beach if you're staying in Warkworth but there are lots better a shortish drive away, such as those at tawharanui regional park. This one is pretty long and thin. There is not much sand when the tide is high and it's quite gritty....More

A beautiful, peaceful place to rejuvenate and unwind. The North end of Snells Beach is a stunning boutique part of the region.
