Good exercise, probably a mile and half in from parking your car by the windmill on Cross Island road. Easy trails to follow

I love hiking and had to do this hike at least once. It was worth it to get my picture and stay for a short bit. But, there are so many other amazing waterfalls of Guam to visit. The water here is pretty green compared to other trails as well so I wouldn’t encourage getting in. It was an easy hike in Guam but would be rated moderate any where else in the world. There is another hike close by called Tarzan Swimhole, highly recommend looking in to that hike as well.

Trailhead not well marked so check for internet posts with gps location. Shoes on telephone wires overhead mark it. This is not a long hike but the end for us was down a steeper bank which had a rope handle. Lower path quite muddy and slippery. Our trail put us above the falls, then hiked down around it to base. It was rainy season and rained day prior, on and off. Wear hiking shoes you don’t mind getting muddy, to hike in and out, which is hard to clean off. Bring shoes you can change into that can get wet in pool at vase of falls. Bring water to drink. Use bug spray and sunscreen.

My family and I hiked to Tarzan Falls. We had three children with us, ages 5, 7, and 9. The trail was a little muddy and slippery, seeing as we had just gotten some rain from a typhoon. However, it was not as bad as I was expecting. (It is the dry season) The trail is loosely marked. When you first arrive to water, it is at the top of the falls. You can see some small falls over rocks. Cross the water at the top and continue hiking down to the falls. The waterfall is beautiful. You will also get to experience the Guam jungle on the hike. Remember bug spray!

I liked Tarzan falls. It isn’t the best waterfall you have ever seen, but its nice, accessible, and something to do on a Guam afternoon.
