Went there for coffee and brunch with the wife and ancient mother in law. This was our second visit. First was not noteworthy at all and this one was worse. Cool coffee, dirty teacup enhanced by chipped and dirty teapot. The cup was replaced with a cleaner one but the dirty one went straight back on the rack! The lass on the counter was comatose and eye contact was not in her remit. It is a shame because the building and ambience is excellent as is the location. We won't be back for a third try.

Diverted on course home from holidays to Brisbane. Spent some time walking the street nothing really appealed and all quite pricey. Ended up here only really due to the shaded outdoor area. My wife and I each had one of the two specials. I had the burger which was exactly as it stated but very sparse and the chicken was slimmer than the breadcrumbs covering it seriously I’m not even sure there was chicken in it. I wish I had taken a photo. My wife’s vege puff was ok and definitely the pick of the two and ok at the $15 special but not worth any extra. Just leaving and the table next to us gets their order and one was the same as mine with an obviously much larger chicken breast piece in the burger, moments later he also then sent his milkshake back as the container was dirty. Our water glasses didn’t look to flash either although I suspect a lot has to do with the plastic glasses going through the dishwasher and needing to be replaced.

The setting is nice, as are the staff. The food was ok but a bit up there with price for what you get. It is a wine tasting venue after all.

We used to visit here every week for morning tea (fruit scones with homemade jam & cream) but it was a real shock on our last visit to see how the portions have shrunk - must be half the size they used to be, barely a mouthful :( The guy in front of me nearly had a heart attack when he was asked for over $70 for his lunch order. They must be staying in business on the single visit tourists as I can't imagine the locals would return

It's been several years since I visited the shopping precinct of Mount Tamborine (now rather overstated as the Gallery Walk). It was a warm March Saturday at midday and you could have fired a cannon through the place...so many terribly average cafes with no-one eating there. And all the great shops now gone. This was a massive let down and you wouldn't waste the petrol getting up the hill...there is almost NOTHING worth seeing...it has all up and gone. The only guy making money is the man printing the "For Lease" signs. What happened?
