We visited the cascades on a cloudy afternoon (drove up to the small cablecar by taxi) and walked the length of it. The top two can only be reached by wading through water - so take your swimming gear with you or just leave them out (no one will tell you that in Mindo...)

A little bit of a hike but well worth it once you get there. We went during the dry season but it must be so much more when it’s raining a lot and the river is full.
