I have visited recently those trails. Simple, quiet trails. Nice to relax but for me wasn't worth $6. They provide you with a simple map. Place has 5 trails. I have done 4 of them for 3 hours. It is much more easier to spot...More

We were in Mindo at a busy time, and really wanted a way to be out in the forest but without lots of people. This was perfect--the trails were well marked, we got to feel we were out in the woods, and there was no-one...More

After walking up through the farm road, you come to endless trails in the rainforest. Stop at the yellow house, pay 6 dollars and you get a map and guidance to trailhead. Even better, stay at the hacienda in their fabulous rooms surrounded by birds.

Beautifull jungly area just outside of town so no need for a cab! Saw many birds and the porch from which you can look at the hummingbirds is just lovely as well

There's very few places to walk around Mindo that's away from the main roads. The Yellow House trails are the few private land walks available. After walking down the long drive you get to the eponymous house. A very nice lady will take your $5,...More

The Yellow House is a working hacienda that is very concerned about the environment. The owners protect a beautiful forest on their land and open the their trails to visitors. The initial walk up the mountain passes the main house (where a small fee is...More

The trails are excellent for many varieties of birds, and the feeders made it a lot easier for that purpose as well. Also look like a decent place to stay
