Nautical history well presented

While we didn't visit the museum in the location stated above, we are pretty sure we saw a curated collection from here in the historical centre in Centro. It was a fascinating glimpse into the maritime history of this part of the world with models of ships and tales of shipwrecks, and displays of diving equipment and various other bits of nautical equipment. It was free to enter and very good!

"Very small museum, clean"

You can visit this museum in a very short amount of time. It is very close to the Toca Waterfalls so you can see both in one visit. There are "maritime objects" and artifacts that date back to the 18th century.

History of shipwrecks and pirates Ilhabela

Eduardo the manager is caring and knows all of the pieces exhibited in this museum of shipwrecks. He is a native of Ilhabela (caiçara) and likes to explain the details and curiosity of the items exhibited. Vale penalty. The fee is $ 4.00 po person. We hope that the City invest in this cultural space that is managed by private initiative
