Cabras Island is a great spot for you to dive. You can go to Narwhal on Pereque beach and arrange your diving trip. They have a nice boat, are a Padi dive center and would be able to help you dive even if you are not a certified diver. They handle the discovery program that would amaze you.

If you are a diver, Ilha das Cabras is one of the main dive spots in Ilhabela. It is a shallow dive, but rich in life and you can easily find a diversity of fish, and if you are lucky even see the sea turtles. There is a Neptune statue about 7 meters underwater.

Clear blue water. Took the kayak around the island recommended for everyone. Water is very good for swimming.

This is a great place to get some hours underwater. It has plenty of life. Fish, corals, sponges, crabs, shrimp, and even turtles! I bring my son here when we visit the island.

We went snorkeling around de island and it was amazing, we were able to sea lots of fishes. It is not possible to enter the islands because it's a private property... Although there is a boat trip around it the seems quite amusing with reasonable pricing. The beach is quite small and not very clean.

We were sold on the idea of going to this beach by our cruise ship, as being an opportunity for snorkelling. The beach itself was ok but the snorkelling was adjacent to Cabras Island. That meant a reasonable swim across the channel from the beach to get to the best snorkelling area. Most of our fellow passengers weren't capable of... More

One of the smaller beaches on Ilhabela, but totally worth checking out. We went during a fairly slow time so the beach never got too crowded but I would recommend getting there a bit early in case the crowds do show up. There are plenty of chairs/tables to claim your spot at if you like with servers handing out menus... More

I'm not a big fan of crowded and noisy places - so Cabras island is not for me - although it's a great place to snorkeling and scuba diving...
