What a lovely way to head to Martha's Vineyard on the Seastreak Ferry ! The ride is quick the price is right the parking is good the seats are comfortable and there are snacks and drinks on board. If you miss the ferry you can take the next one with an additional charge of only five dollars per ticket!

The Seastreak fast ferry from New Bedford gets you to Martha's Vineyard in an hour enabling you to enjoy an entire day there without having to spend the night. The steamship authority ferry is a much longer ride and although it is cheaper much of your day is spent getting to the Vineyard and coming back. We left on time... More

We arrived at plenty of time, The boat was very clean. Inside and out was great. Comfortable enough to fall asleep on the way home. The seats are comfortable. They had drinks a snacks available, the fee wasn't bad and they had senior citizen rates.

If one is West of Cape Cod and traveling with a plan to visit Martha's Vineyard. The New England Fast Ferry puts you on the Island faster that one can drive to the Cape and take the ferry. Have to admit it is an interesting ride out of New Bedford, Mass, and to the Vineyard in about an hour. Have... More

The Fast Ferry is the way to travel to and from Nantucket to the eastern shoreline. The travel times are convenient and the location of the ferry is central to the hotels and island attractions. I thought my trip would take two hours, but was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at my destination in exactly one hour. The ferry is... More

We took a day trip to Martha's Vineyard and debated which of the ferry options to take. We live in RI and decided to take the fast ferry from New Bedford to Oak Bluffs even though the price was a little steep. (70 dollars round trip)..Would definitely do it again. It was easy in and out for parking and no... More

For weeks we sweated the details of how to get to Marthas Vineyard from Providence (after flying in from Chicago). With a couple of seasickness-prone family members, and no desire to battle traffic going to Woods Hole, we ultimately chose the New England Fast Ferry out of New Bedford. We had read that the ferry out of Providence has a... More
