A place to see live performance

The show are excellent famous people as well as plays and musical performance. however the seat are very old and dirty to seat on. They still have the old seats from the 60" there.

Beautifully restored 1920s theater. Moby dick had its premiere here. Selection of plays and touring performers and the home for the New Bedford symphony.

I've been to the Zeiterion on numerous occasions! An array of shows for all ages! I, myself, go for the musical performances that normally, one would have to travel to Boston to see! Comfortable seating, clean bathrooms and many staff members to help with any questions.

This is a great event venue. Old but still in good shape. They have a mighty wurlitzer organ. They played this before the event began. We will have to get back there for an organ concert. We saw a choir and they were very good. they also have their own parking garage so that is not a problem. It was... More

Enjoyed the show at the Z. Loved the Old Historic Theater. Parking garage close by, for easy access to Theater. Friendly volunteers, nice staff. Have a drink, or a glass of wine. Nice place, nice location. Any seat is a good seat.

Historic and also the only and best venue in the area. There are often great performances and big names which sometimes catch you by surprise. Love this place. No seat is a bad seat.

Today my husband and I treated our family to the Holiday Pops at the Zeiterion Theater. What a delight it was!!! The New Bedford Symphony Orchestra was astounding and played with such expertise and enthusiasm. The conductor was delightful and really made the musical renditions interesting and heart warming. We were all moved to tears several times during the show.... More

Small venues make for the more intimate shows where there isn't a bad seat in the house. The Z has had more and more excellent shows each year. Do yourself a favor and grab a program. From musicals, concerts, to off-Broadway theatre productions, there is something for everyone.

Although my wife and I have visited " THE Z " several times in the past few years, the other nights' show with Arlo Guthrie and his 50Th anniversary tour of Alice's restaurant was outstanding. This was the first time I had witnessed a total sell out. Extra volunteer ushers were present and everything seemed "over the top." The bar... More

The Zeiterian is a beautiful theatre with a FREE parking garage. The prices are reasonable and if you find a show you like it is a GREAT experience. For real good shows try to get tickets early
