This is my parish and has been for many years. It is a beautiful church . Attend one of the many concerts that are offered here. The church does so much for the community and those in need. Please donate to the soup kitchen.

Considering the parish is struggling, this large church is lovingly kept up. So much to see; every space is filled. A short drive north from the main tourist spots.

Over the years this beautiful church like so many other has lost many parishioners. The red sandstone exterior needs to be cleaned and when funds are available it will be. Inside and out is a testament to Roman Influence and sitting inside gives one the the feeling of peace and contentment. The organ is beautiful and still in use from the 1900.As a young boy I remember attending mass which was in Latin. A must see while in New Bedford and for a Catholic you have 3 wishes, use them well.

This is an absolutely beautiful church. Built by the French Canadian immigrants that settled in New Bedford, this church is a tribute to that local heritage and a gift to those who visit.

You will not find a more beautiful church in the area. It is very European inside and just magnificent. It is a deeply spiritual experience to attend Mass on Sunday or to hear an organ concert when all the lights are turned on. Check church bulletins or google the website to attend a concert. Organists from different states and churches love this Hastings and Hook organ. Do not miss !!!
