This paved trail allows you to see the beaches, ocean (with an occasional whale sighting!) and hotels/condos along this stretch of the coast. It's easy to walk (for runners, the trail can be narrow so you may have to slow down to get around the slower walkers), and offers both uphill and downhill terrain. Definitely enjoy this walk if you... More

We went to the coastal trail on the advice of a friend who had been recently. She was spot on. The walk wasn't difficult and the views were absolutely amazing. Definitely worth it.

This trail is 1.5 miles in length so you can get a good 3 mile walk in each day. Best time is early morning as it starts to get crowded around 8 and the sun is the trail by then. I loved the smoothie stands on the trail too. The scenery is amazing!

Walk this every morning for a terrific start to the day. About 4 mile round trip. Paved and easy. Ends at Kihei on one end. Go beyond Polo at the Fairmont on the other thru side streets to some private, secret beached

No, it's not made of boards. It's concrete. It's also flat in a world of hills and valleys. That makes it perfect for travelers with a wheelchair companion. The coastline is beautiful, the beaches are amazing, and the resorts behind are over the top. Go there.

The views of the ocean and the luxury resorts is outstanding. Be advised that much of the trail crosses through the resorts and can be busy, Also, it is exposed and can be hot in the middle of the day. There are a parking lots at both ends.

This is a very nice walk to take in the early morning. You can a nice breeze off the ocean. It gets a little bit more crowded later in the day. Its a nice way to see the hotels along the shore.

Gorgeous views. We walked from the kea lani to the Andaz. We had to stop several times just to take in the views. Lots of others also enjoy this walk

Ran this path every day for a week while staying at the Fairmont Kea Lani. Not hard to get motivated with views of the Pacific and the neighboring islands. Gets crowded early (7AM). Runs from just south of the Fairmont for about a mile and a half past hotels and condos along the water. Passes multiple beaches and ends at... More

See also Wailea beach path Along the Wailea cost is a long path. A large part of it is paved but there is also another section that is really dirt, gravel, grass. In one section it's missing due to homes along the water but in that area you can beach walk. Overall it makes for a nice long walk. Saw... More
