great quiet place .. if you go further north , you get to snorkel and come close with turtles.. def must go

excellent location family friendly. dogs and frisbees in the morning. the crowd was older and richer than the beaches in the middle of khie town. parking easy in the morning and evening -- challenging in the middle of the day. snorkeling also available.

With warm water & soft sand, this beach is one of the best in Hawaii. Our family actually got to watch Sea Turtles glide by us as we swam in the ocean. AMAZING !

Love Wailea- lovely path that is between Andaz and Four Seasons- perfect fit strolling, walking or jogging Views are jaw-dropping. Next door to Wailea, Kehei- had equally gorgeous coastlines too- check that one out too

This beach is sublime. The warm waters are made for water sports. The snorkeling is great. The beach is beautiful.

Without having to get in the car this beach is amazing! A must to just to find a wide variety of fish and turtles. Perfect for kayaking and snorkeling

One of the best if not the best beaches I've been too. Stunning views out and along the coastline. Plenty to do for all ages. Body boarding, snoorkles along the reef! I see a turtle. Great to go for a long walk along the beach....More

There is shopping within walking distance at the Shops of Wailea. You can have lunch and wander about.

You can always go get in your car and drive to Makawao which is a cool little town that is "upcountry"...or you can just walk next door to the hotel and shop at the mall.
