Beach is flanked by resort hotels, but does have public access. Very nice, wide beach -- with tons of room to stretch out. Waves not too high -- so can easily enjoy the water and paddleboarding, etc

Nice place to sun and jump in for a snorkel. Close to major resorts and services but lacks the majesty of Makena and Big Beach - down the road. This is a great, safe place for kids as the beach is pretty sheltered and the surf is mild compared to other areas like La Perouse Bay out in the Ahihi... More

During our trip we went to many beaches on Maui for snorkeling or just lazing in the sun. One of the best was Wailea beach. There always seemed to be places to park for people not staying at the nearby hotels and the beach was never crowded. Good snorkeling near the rocks

the beach is very good. No rocks or gravel to walk through - just soft sand. Only negative is extra charge for chairs. If you like playing in the waves this is one of the best beaches.

Waves are usually calm and can build awesome sand castles. There is some snorkeling nearby. Good sized beach that isn't usually super busy.

Even if we were not staying at the Four Seasons, I would come to this beach anyways. And coming here to go snorkeling is how I discovered the Four Seasons in the first place - I lost my car keys and the folks at the FS let me use a phone to call and get a spare set. As for... More

We loved looking out over the blue waters. It was so peaceful. We want to return and spend more time here.

Waliea is long dandy beach that is nestled among several resorts. The sand is soft and there is limited shade. The water was warm, clear and there were rolling waves that broke in way that allowed for long smooth body surfing to the shore.
