We have been coming here for years. We were quite impressed as to how the coral reef by the Four Seasons had gotten healthier over the years--this was the healthiest we have seen it. We saw eels, octopus, a turtle, a large school of fish and other fish galore. The water can be calm to choppy depending on the weather,... More

I love this beach. I did some snorkling. There are lots of fish and I also saw some green turtle. I love it here.

On our Honeymoon, we stayed three nights at Four Seasons and three nights at Grand Wailea. The two resorts share the same beach. The beach is immaculate with awesome rock formations. The water is near crystal clear, great for scuba and other water activities. Great running/walking side walk that wraps around the coast. Can't say enough about the view, breathtaking.

Loved this beach in the early morning for a walk. The water was so warm and still. There were no waves. Great for kids. And the view at sunset os amazing.

We took a cab here and the cab dropped us at the public beach. There are cold showers and restrooms. You use the same beach as the upscale resorts. We were able to rent chairs on the beach. We had the same experience as those staying at the Grand Wailea. This is a breathtaking beach. It is a great beach... More

I wish I would have read a review like this before deciding on Hawaii. If you enjoy really blue and calm water, do NOT come to Hawaii. My fiancé and I are used to the Caribbean and was told that Hawaii would have those electric blue waters, which we learned was completely false. The water was clear but not blue.... More

The beach is nice. It is a resort beach so be prepared to have a lot of people. There are stand up paddleboard rentals available. The wind kicked up so it created big waves. When that happens they don't rent the boards anymore. Be aware, the wave can get a little big so enter the water with caution. This beach... More

Our second visit to Maui and I remember this beach from about 10 years ago and it has remained beautiful and one of the preferred locations to enjoy the sand and water. Fine sand beach with shallow depth for quite a distance making it ideal for everybody especially small children. Waves vary with time of the day and season but... More

Maui beach is beautiful in spite of being a smaller beach than we are used to. We went paddle boarding on the ocean one afternoon and it was great. We also went ocean kayaking another day. The water was so clear we could see some coral and fish, we were hoping for sea turtles. This was our second visit to... More

There are some beaches that are definitely more epic, but this one gets 5 green bulls eyes because it's directly between and super close to the Four Seasons and the Grand Wailea hotels. Hang on the beach and when you're ready just walk up the steps to the bar and have a Mai Tai! You could park at either hotel... More
