We just finished our stay at the Grand Wailea Resort. The Wailea Beach is short, very short walking distance from the Grand Wailea Pools (if you have kids they will love the pools here). The beach is nice, clean and well kept. The water is perfect! Great attraction for sunset pictures.

We went far and wide, to the east and west to D.T Fleming beach, Napili beach, Kanapali beach, Makena state beach, big beach but found the Wailea beach to be most family and swimming friendly. It has gently rolling waves with a slow drop.

Great family beach with a lot of activities -- scuba, snorkeling, canoeing, kayaking, etc. Nice waves that are fun and exciting, but also safe. We love it!

This is a beautiful beach. Swim out far enough and you are pretty much guaranteed to see turtles gracefully cruising below. Swim a little further out and you encounter the reefs that attract dive boats from parts further. There is a semi private feel as the beach is effectively locked between a number of upscale resorts so the public car... More

Hotel Wilea and the Four Seasons are at one end of the beach. Soft sand, warm blue water, fabulous! Can walk beach path, walk beach and check out hotels.

Wonderful beach with a great sunset. Winds were a bit gusty while we were there and it was great for a little body surfing.

Played at Wailea Beach several times on our vacation as we were staying at Ho'olei at Grand Wailea. Paddleboarding with the turtles was awesome!

Everything about this beach is stunning. We stayed at the Ho'olei Resort which is behind the Grand Wailea and the Four Seasons but was a quick and easy walk along a nice pathway to have access to it. The waves were perfect for the kids (not to big), the snorkeling was amazing, the views, it was never that hot, water... More

We saw turtles and eels. Water was very calm during the morning but would get choppy by the afternoon. Beautiful fishes but corals are not so colorful.

The views at this beach are extraordinary! It's the perfect beach to relax and take pictures. The sand is soft and the water a beautiful blue.
