As a high handicap golfer, I am not a professional, nor claim to be one. These guys do it right, the course is beautiful, and well-maintained. My wife and I played 18 later in the day as it was a little less expensive. I have played the gold in the Emerald courses and I've enjoyed both. Some of the golf... More

We played the Emerald course 3 times. Very nice course and beautiful views of the ocean. The restaurant is also very good. A great time. They give you personal service, loading the cart, a cooler of water, cleaning your clubs after your game and supplying a warm washcloth at cart return. Just a beautiful place to play!

What a course! This is hard to believe that it is a municipal course. Five holes along the Pacific Ocean! The rest were wonderful. Great greens, difficult to reach because this is not a short course. What a bargain. I have seen the $200 a round courses, and they don't have anything this course doesn't have. Great bargain. Don't play... More

I have played all 3 Wailea courses. The Blue is slightly lower cost, but still worth playing. The Gold is probably the most scenic. The Emerald is nice too. If I were to go back and play 1 course it would probably be the Gold. Expect to pay Hawaii type rates. You can rent clubs at the clubhouse. The service... More

it's simply breathtaking and fun to play. With views of the ocean from almost every hole this course allows you to play to your handicap. A very professional staff run a very tight ship with foursomes spaced out every nine minutes. Excellent pro shop and restaurant. Driving range is a little complicated. Carts have good GPS system . If you... More

The greens on Blue were just punched but that meant I got to play for cheap and got a three hour round in -- there was nobody there. Played all three courses over a week in Wailea and I love coming back to this place. Very low traffic in the afternoon, quick rounds and unbelievably beautiful.

Worth the expense. Great course, in great shape. Can see the Ocean from 8+ holes. a magnificent view everywhere. Not cheap, but worth the $180 ish dollars a round.

We played the Gold which has a great variety of holes even if none particularly memorable. Throw in a surprisingly quick pace of play and beautiful views and it was worth the high greens fees for a vacation splurge. Be prepared however to wear out your sand wedge in deep traps with heavy sand.
