The little beach is located on the northern part of the big beach. Both are amazing, the best beaches in Maui. Coming from Wailea, you can park your car on the first Makena state park beach parking lot which will take you to the Big...More

Fantastic beach and everyone seemed cool there. But there was one exception with a guy using a long lens camera obviously taking photos of random people. My take would be this is a very uncool thing to do at a beach of this type. Otherwise...More

Little Beach is considered by many to be a clothing optional beach. Park in the Makena State Park lot and walk along Big Beach and up and over a hill. Below you will see Little Beach. No lifeguards.

This is a “Must Do” in Maui! This is a clothing optional beach. We arrived before sunset and stayed until about 9:30, when the drummers and fire dancers wrapped it up. There were a lot of people, lots of dancing and playing in the surf,...More

A little out of the way but worth the drive and hike. Some shade available at the north end of the beach but you will need to take umbrellas otherwise. This is our beach when in Maui.

I took my wife here for the first time and she enjoyed the freedom of being at a nude beach. No you don’t have to be nude to enjoy this beach but almost everyone is. It is a very relaxing beach but doesn’t have the...More
