Beautiful hidden gem on the south shore

Beautiful spot for a picnic or snorkeling - waters are clear and close to Turtle Town. Parking can be a bit tricky, but worth the effort

Nice little beach anyway, but Sunday evening is a very special time here. Beautiful mix of people from all walks of life come together, some get naked, some dance, some perform with fire, some swim, most just sit around and chat, anything goes, and it is truly wonderful. A highlight of our time on Maui for its ability to connect... More

We didn't expect to find a clothes optional beach on the island. That's why we were very happy to discover this nice place. We found very relaxed people there, some of them enjoyed the waves, some did some sun bathing, others found other occupations..... definitely a place to recommend for persons who enjoy to be naked. Not recommend for families... More

There are 5 or 6 beaches on the planet that are close to perfect for me, and this is one of them. Yes, it's a bit of a climb, and no, there are no facilities, but that's part of what makes it perfect. I can take or leave the Sunday drum circle thing. Depending on the time of year, the... More

It's readily known that Little Beach is a clothing optional beach adjacent to Big Beach and part of Makena State Park. Having perused the reviews here for Little Beach, it's amazing that people don't know in advance that this is a nude beach and that they might encounter full frontal adult physiology. That there are people so outraged/embarrassed/hung-up/prude about the... More

We visited Little Beach one morning. It was cloudy, so the beach was relatively uncrowded. There were lots of hetero and gay couples, some single men, and one or two single women. Almost everyone was nude. No gawkers. A group of teenagers showed up with an adult, and they all played clothed in the surf near the entrance to the... More

Little beach is the nude section of the "big" beach. It is absolutely secluded from the bigger part, as you actually have to climb a very little mountain to get to it. Everyone was practically nude. Like only a few people still had on their tops or bottoms, or etc. But if you are not interested in a fully nude... More

We found this beach by hiking over the rocks at the west side of Makena beach. It was secluded and private with no other souls to bother us. We settled in and took a snooze only to wake and find ourselves surrounded by nudists, doing usual beach activities including swimming and boogie boarding. In any case, its still a nice... More

We went Sunday closer to sunset, they have a free fire dancers show there, we really enjoyed that. Be aware it's an optional nude beach. Also, the parking lot might close around 8pm so I'd park on the side of the street outside (you'll see a lot of cars parking there)

Lovely secluded beach. Not so easy to access (park at Big Beach and then walk from a rocky path). It's quite a hippie place... few nudist there. Sandy beach and sandy fondals.
